Good morning! 😀

So nice to wake up to hope of a bright new future.

I know there is still a long way to go but two major squalor issues have been fixed.

My hoarder has been in a very good mood. Not mean, nasty or negative.
He has not been grumbling about the 350.00 for the septic clean out or the 50.00 for the new plumbing parts to fix the shower leak.

My plans for today....

water some plants in the yard
take a nice long hot shower
flush the toilet every time I walk by

Tomorrow, after he goes to work I will clean the house super good so today I am just going to enjoy myself. 😀

Have a GREAT day everybody!

Thank you MayMay 😀

Wishing you GOOD LUCK.
Most of all be safe!
Don't get hurt there and make sure to take regular rest breaks.
Drink lots of water.
Wear protective clothing, good sturdy shoes, work gloves, rubber gloves and always a face mask when stirring up dust & mold.

Wash and treat any cuts & scrapes and keep them covered while decluttering.

Keep in touch. 🙂

Hey Tillie,
Yay! Congratulations on being able to finally have the septic tank drained. 😀

The Guy came about 11:00 am.
He looked like he was a real pro at walking through goat paths.
After 20 years, the septic tank was drained.
Now the toilet flushes all proper like.
There will no longer be a stinky pond in the side yard.

I stayed inside and watched through the window.
When it was all over with and the top back on I went out and said "thank you" to the man as he finished putting away his equipment.
He stopped what he was doing, looked around and said to me "You be real careful out here".
I assured him that I would be and came back inside.

After all these years of me trying to get my hoarder to do this it's finally done! 😀

I will sleep good & sound tonight. 🙂

He got up before the sun and got out there.
He's done a lot more to clear the path and has moved two vehicles out to the road.

Looks like this will really happen! 😀

This is something I have been wanting done for too many years now.

Will report back later. 🙂

Wow! The time has finally come...

This weekend I am getting ready to go to Seattle to clean my very first hoarded house. I am leaving for Seattle on Sunday night. The hoard in the house is a level 5 so I am kind of nervous about the cleanup. But I am also really really excited about it too! 😀

Quarter to eleven PM here.

There is now a goat path all the way through to the septic tank.
Hope the Guy can manage getting through there.
The car is still in the way but he said he will be able to move it to the road in the morning.

I had a hard time sleeping last night, hope tonight is better.
Too bad I never drink alcohol. 😉 Oh well...

Good night.

It's after 5pm here now.
The new bath tub faucet has been installed.

He said he will go move stuff out in the yard in a little while.

🙁

He took today off work so he could clear access to the septic tank for the Guy to come tomorrow.

The shower/bath tub faucet has had a leak whenever you turn it on for almost a year now.
He has moved stuff from in front of his bedroom closet and stuff in the closet to gain access to the plumbing.
Lots of nasty water damage in there.
He has gone to the hardware store to buy new parts because all the parts he dumpster dived for and saved for years do NOT work.

He has not made access to the septic tank.

Deep breath, deep breath, deep breath.........

My To-Do list for today...

Don't give up.
Don't fall into that deep dark bottomless pit of dispair.
Keep being positive and optimistic even though I'm always dissapointed.
Do not cry.
Do not lash out.
Do not harm myself or anyone else.

Sincerely, Tillie

I got carried away with cleaning 😀

Have wiped down everything and washed the floors.
Did a bunch of little cleaning chores, wiping things just to make them smell like lavender scented Pinesol.

Now I am going to take a shower and wash my hair.
I do not care that the water will all pool up over the septic tank.
Yes, I know, I am evil. 😉

He is taking tomorrow off work.
Still has not made access to the septic tank and says he will do that tomorrow.

Yeah, right! 🙁

Try to have a great day everybody! 😀

OMG! My boyfriend Josh and his friend Kevin have just arrived at my house dressed like Cory Chalmers and Matt Paxton! I had no idea that they were going to do this for Halloween. They are hilarious. 😀

Anyone want to guess which one my boyfriend is dressed as? 😉

Tillie,
Matt and Dr. Green are ok. I have been in contact with them, but they are just busy filming and probably exhausted at night. Hope everyone else is doing ok. For all of you outside of the Sandy zone, have a very Happy Halloween and stay safe!

Omg! I just looked out my window and realized that it is now snowing outside. This is crazy. I can't believe it is snowing on Halloween.

Hey Tillie,

Yeah on Monday while the storm was going on, I was definitely worrying about Matt Paxton; because I know that he is from Virginia, so he was very close to where the storm was.

Happy Halloween!

Thanks to the weather my plans for Halloween are all screwed up now. 🙁

I was supposed to take my 2 nephews trick or treating tonight but because of the rain and the really cold weather it looks like that won't be happening now. I'm so sad because I was really looking forward to taking Matt and Cory with me so that I could walk them around in their Halloween costumes.

My friends and I are still going to be holding a seance tonight in my room; so that we can try and connect with some spirits. 🙂

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Doing some laundry right now.
Today I will go through my summer dresses and let go of some that have seen better days.

Not much else on my To-Do list 😀

This is the one holiday I ever do, so a kind of free & fun day here.

Drive slow today, kids will be out
Trick or Treating.

Have a GREAT Pumpkin day everybody! 😀

I am concerned about Matt and Melva.
Matt was able to post once on the A&E messageboard yesterday and Dr. Green never did come on.

Looking at the news coverage last night showed just how devastating that storm was.

I have a friend who lives in NY state, south of NY city and I have not heard from him.

Then there is Sheryl and Darci and so many others.

I have a prayer candle burning for them all. (((hugs)))

Haha! Matt and Cory have done that before; but instead of leaving blue paw prints all over the carpet, they left muddy paw prints. 🙂

Tillie

He did put a coat of blue paint on the back porch floor when he was finished with the car.

Then Marty (the cat) ran across the porch.
I tried to grab him to wash his feet but he got past me and ran through the house, leaving little blue foot prints all over the carpet.

Finally caught him and washed his feet with Dawn dish washing soap.
Then I washed up all the blue foot prints he left.

Well...

That car was not moved today.

With all the other vehicles, campers & general clutter there is no place for him to put it.

He said he will move it to the road before the guy comes.

Moving a car.....

He decided that the engine compartment needed to be vacuumed out.
It is full of everything.
Leaves, spider webs, wasp nests, etc.
The battery cables need to be cleaned so he can put in another battery.

I haven't asked if the fluid levels are alright.
Another thing about this car is it is all electric doors, windows and such.
It is big and heavy and there is no way he can push it anywhere.

The gas is very old & full of moisture.
He is putting air into the tires.

He just got it started, doesn't sound very good & the smoke is terrible.

It's an old Ford Crown Victoria, ugly thing.

Now lets see if he can move this puppy out of the way.
