We have more than enough stuff here to last us many years. 😉

Today I plan to cook one of my favorite recipes then clean up the kitchen.
This dish is sort of a small meatball wrapped in bread dough then baked.

I have no idea what kind of plans he has for today.

Today is BLACK FRIDAY!

I know I'm not. 😉
I went shopping on black Friday like 2 years ago and it was awful.
The lines were super long and there were people fighting in the isles.
I remember when I was waiting in line to check out at Kohls 2 women started fighting over some toy; and while they were fighting they accidentally knocked me over.
It was so crazy!

Today my plans are to bring in the little ladder and clean the ceiling light fixtures.
Put the stove rings to soak and scrub them clean.
Already have 2 loads of laundry hung on the clothes line.
Then I need to clean out the fan on my laptop. It gets lots of dust and then runs hot.

Today I am going to clean the house. Then after I clean the house I am going to take Cory and Matt for a walk. Then when we get back from the walk I am going to give both of them a bath so that they will be all nice and clean when my relatives from Michigan arrive later on tonight. My relatives are coming down to visit us for thanksgiving. They are arriving tonight and then they are leaving on Friday morning.

I don't really have anything planned for today. It is really cold outside. So I think I might have a movie marathon today. I always like to have movie marathons whenever it is really cold and gloomy outside. 🙂

The usual cat related tasks

Then I plan to treat myself kindly with a shampoo and pedicure and watch a video.
Might even take a nap.

It took me longer to finish cleaning today.
Discovered a leak under the bathroom sink.
Would have found it earlier if I had not been sick all last week.
The washing machine is in the bathroom and the cold water hose is leaking at the connection.
Slow leak, about one drop every time I count up to 5 or 6.
Fortunately, I never keep anything under the sink that can be damaged by a water leak. 🙂
Only plastic jugs of laundry stuff, toilet brush and a bucket with my cleaning supplies.
The piece needs to be replaced so I have a dish pan under there to catch the drips.
He has taken Wednesday off work this week and also has Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Plenty of time to fix this.

Anyways...
The house is clean and I had lunch. 🙂

My To-Do list for today...
do 3 loads of laundry
sweep floors & porches
clean the bathroom
wash the floors
vacuum the carpet
wipe off all the door knobs, light switches, remotes and everything else that gets touched daily
use the vacuum to dust drapes, window sills and the edges around the walls
dust everything because everything is dusty
wash the cat's litter boxes
Tidy up and clean anything else I see that could use a cleaning

Then I will eat lunch 😀

I'm Baaaaack!!!

I just got home from Seattle. Even though I enjoyed being in Seattle a lot, I am really glad to be home. Cory and Matt practically attacked me when I walked through the front door. lol. They were really excited to see me. I actually think that I missed them just as much as they missed me while I was in Seattle. Tomorrow I will post all about my trip and the clean-up. But right now I am going to unpack, take a shower, and go to bed even though it's only 7:30pm where I live. Today was a very long day. 🙂

OK, that virus really knocked me on my bumm.
Feeling good today but a little weak & tired.

Resting today.
Tomorrow I have to clean up here.
It is a mess. He never cleans up after himself.
But I have been able to keep up with the cat care and dish washing. 🙂
There wasn't much food in the house when I got sick so there was nothing to really mess up the kitchen with.
Just some toast and soup for me. :p

Since I am not in the office today it is work at home day. On the agenda for today...steam clean the carpets in the motorhome, take a refrigerator to my sons new apartment, and all the chores around the house, dishes, vacuum, trash, etc.

I have a bad cold 🙁
Taking sick leave 🙁

Today he has gone back to work so I get a break.

Since the fridge is pretty empty, today I plan to remove all the shelves & drawers and wash everything.
Then wipe off the few things that we have and put them all back in.

Have two loads of laundry to hang out.

Must vacuum and sweep.

I have no idea what I will be doing
just sort of playing it by ear.
He has today off work and maybe he will still be motivated to do something around here.

Try to encourage him to fill the trash cans for Monday's pick up.

28 degrees outside, 58 degrees inside.

Today I hope to get him to clean his bedroom.
It really stinks.
Lots of food rotting and food related garbage.
Also, really want him to change the bed sheets.
Many dirty dishes stuck to things too.
A coffee cup that has a beard of mold growing out of it.

Good Morning!
Up early for a busy day. First...voting! Then working on my lectures for Anaheim tomorrow and Toronto on Thursday. Meeting with our first potential franchisee and his business partner this morning, then another meeting this afternoon.

I hope everyone has a great day, is able to vote, and makes a little dent in the clutter. Today we could declutter our homes and our government 🙂

Today he worked on fixing that area where that water leak had been in his closet.

He did a lot of carpentry type work, replacing water damaged wood & wall board.

He was almost finished when he dropped a heavy tool that sheared off the water line.
Water sprayed everywhere!

He took it in stride. Did not blow up as he usually would.

He dried it up and continued on working.

Then he tidied up his bedroom.
He is sleeping in his bed tonight, last night he couldn't even reach it. 🙂
