I don't have a lot planned for today. Today I just plan on having a "Rescue Me" marathon.

Today is my birthday; and one of my birthday presents that I got yesterday was the complete series of the tv show "Rescue Me".

For those of you who have never heard of "Rescue Me", it is a tv show about a bunch of firefighters from New York City. The show aired on FX and it ended last year.

I have this really weird obsession with both firefighters and paramedics. lol. 🙂

Very bad storm today! 🙁

Wind blowing so hard it knocked over the 3/4 full big wheelie bin and trash was blowing every where.
Ran out there in my robe & slippers chasing trash and got the bin back against the carport to keep it upright.

Neighbor called and told me the roofing on the south side of the garage is lifting up.

Reno, Sparks and Truckee are going to flood today when the river over flows it's banks.

We are far enough from rivers here so we are safe from flooding.

The rain will start here in about an hour and we can expect a drenching.

So, today I will be on storm watch.

OMG! I just finished emptying out and throwing away a bunch of old fast food cups that I had piling up in my room. After I emptied out all of the cups, I looked inside them to see if there was anything growing in any of them. When I looked inside one of the burger king cups, I noticed that there were these really NASTY looking black spots that looked kind of bumpy at the bottom of the cup. It was sooooo GROSS!

And yes I will confess that sometimes I can be very messy. lol. 🙂

I don't have much planned for today. I just plan on washing my bedding today and then doing some more loads of laundry. Yesterday we got a new washing machine and we have a lot of dirty clothes that have piled up while we were waiting for the washing machine to be delivered. We went 3 days without doing any laundry because we didn't have a working washing machine.

Snow storm blowing in.
At sunrise the gray clouds were painted a very lovely pink.

Haven't been out of this house for two weeks.
Need to go grocery shopping tomorrow.
Hate going out this time of year what with all the xmas decorations and music everywhere.
That stuff really annoys me.
And to top it all off the small town here always puts a xmas tree up right smack dab in the center of the narrow two lane Main street.
Cars and pedestrians all trying to safely get around that stupid thing. 🙁

I want to make cinnamon buns but don't have enough raisins.
Have all the other ingredients here.

Making a shopping list today...
Checking the store ads.
Getting my coupons in order.
Buy raisins!

Need to tidy up around here...
sweep, vacuum, etc.

I was without internet all day. 🙁
Due to the squalor in his bedroom, a cable had become disconnected. I went in there this morning to check out what may be the problem
but when I saw chicken bones covered with an inch of dust along the wall near all the power cords and internet cables
I just gave up and got the heck out of there.

Anyways...
I had a good day.
Did 2 loads of laundry.
Got some small tasks all taken care of, washed my hair, then spent the afternoon watching DVDs.

So far not much has happened today.
Today I found out that I did not win lottery last night. 🙁
Someone from Arizona won and someone from Missouri won.
They are so lucky!
I wish that I won the money so that I could live life like my idol Kim Kardashian.

I just bought $20 worth of power ball lottery tickets. Tonight's jackpot is $550 million! I really hope I win! If I win I know exactly what I want to do with the money. I want to buy a HUGE apartment in New York City as well as a HUGE getaway house in Texas. I also want to buy a private jet so that I can travel back and forth from New York City to Texas anytime I want. I also want to buy a camaro that I can drive around in when I'm in Texas. 🙂

Sorry you had an ear worm keeping you up late.

Right now it's a little after 2:00am where I live and I'm trying to go to sleep but I'm having trouble falling asleep because I have R. Kelly's song "I believe I can fly" stuck in my head. This totally sucks because I feel tired and I want to go to sleep but for some reason the song is keeping me awake; even though it's only stuck in my head and not actually playing out loud.

I just finished eating lunch 😀

The house is all clean and back to the way I like it.

One of the biggest advantages of not having too much stuff cluttering up my "No Clutter Zones"
is that it is easy to clean.
Only a few hours of housework and it's all good now.

The rest of the week is mine to do with as I please.
Only takes a few minutes daily to keep it up.

All of us can have this too. We just need to get that clutter under control first. 🙂

I just checked the guide on my TV and found out that HOARDERS is not on TV tonight. 🙁
This is the 4th week that HOARDERS has not been on TV. 🙁
I'm so sad right now. 🙁
I miss seeing Cory Chalmers and Matt Paxton on TV. 🙁

Sweep and wash floors
clean bathroom
vacuum the carpet
dust
generally straighten and clean and wipe off everything
sweep porches
tidy up the kitchen
check fridge and wipe the shelves
and so on...

I'll call this reason reason number 11:
When you get someone's wedding ring stuck on your finger, your paramedic boyfriend will be able to get it off for you. lol.

Today while I was out shopping with my friends, my friend amber found someone's wedding ring laying on the sidewalk. She grabbed it and tried to put it on her finger. But it didn't fit. So she gave it to me and asked me if I wanted to try it on. I said yes; and when I put it on my finger it seemed like it was going to fit. But then when I tried to take the ring off, it was stuck on my finger. As I kept trying to take it off I started to really freak out. As my friends and I are thinking of a way to try and get the ring off my finger my friend hailie suddenly says, "hey lets call Josh! He'll know what to do! He's a paramedic." Josh is my boyfriend. So I called him and told him what happened. And then I asked him if he could try to help get it off my finger. I was so relieved when he was able to get the ring off my finger. My friends thought that it was really cool when he arrived in the ambulance. I was really shocked when he arrived in the ambulance because when I called him, he told me that he wasn't on duty. I thought it was really sweet though. My friends think it's really cool that I'm dating a paramedic. Lol. 🙂

Why do I always have to be the adult.
When I see something in the house that needs to be repaired or taken care of and mention it,
I then become the "nagging evil person".

This place has a LOT of problems that could have easily been fixed but after many years of neglect are now major issues.

He would rather spend the money on crap.
He does not need any more crap, he has tons of it already.

My To-Do list today....

Be selfish and carefree and not even think about the future.
Dust the things that give me pleasure and take a hammer to those things that don't.
Start a fire in the burn barrel.
