THE GRATITUDE LIST

The Gratitude List

Hi All!
Sorry I have been so absent lately, things are just extremely busy for me right now. I have been working with a business coach and he is helping me as a person, not just a businessman. With that being said, I want to share with you one of the exercises he has been having me do daily which I think has helped me a lot deal with the stresses of every day life. Each day for 21 days, I write down 3 things I am grateful for. That's it! Why is this important? We all tend to hold onto the negative things in life, instead of stepping back and appreciating everything that is good in our lives. I encourage you to try this, and remind yourself everything you have in your life that you are grateful for. It can be anything and everything from your health, to friends on this board, a beating heart, a roof over your head, etc. I think you can all find this helpful in reeling in the emotions that can cause us undue stress each day. Make your own list and post it here for the next 21 days. Can you commit to that?

My daily list:
1) God
2) My Family
3) My Health

Lets see yours now 🙂

The rebellious little brat inside me doesn't want to feel grateful for anything today. She just wants to have a pity party.

For a couple seconds I'm going to sit on her and say I'm grateful for ~

a working computer and being able to connect with you

fingers that can tap out words slowly but still can do it

a purring cat at my feet

That does feel better. 🙂

...an elderly relative (also a hoarder, by the way...runs in the family) whose love for me and emotional support of me touches me at a deep level and is very healing for me.
