THE GRATITUDE LIST

The Gratitude List

Hi All!
Sorry I have been so absent lately, things are just extremely busy for me right now. I have been working with a business coach and he is helping me as a person, not just a businessman. With that being said, I want to share with you one of the exercises he has been having me do daily which I think has helped me a lot deal with the stresses of every day life. Each day for 21 days, I write down 3 things I am grateful for. That's it! Why is this important? We all tend to hold onto the negative things in life, instead of stepping back and appreciating everything that is good in our lives. I encourage you to try this, and remind yourself everything you have in your life that you are grateful for. It can be anything and everything from your health, to friends on this board, a beating heart, a roof over your head, etc. I think you can all find this helpful in reeling in the emotions that can cause us undue stress each day. Make your own list and post it here for the next 21 days. Can you commit to that?

My daily list:
1) God
2) My Family
3) My Health

Lets see yours now 🙂

Today I am grateful for the fact that a currently unmanageable life doesn't have to mean a permanently unmanageable one.

Today I am grateful that I finally went to costco and bought lots of frozen fruit and vegetables, and soy milk to make my smoothies, and soup. Took list and was quick to shop and bought nothing but was on list, no stops at any other store or thrift shop.
I am feeling better today, each day less pain in mouth. Still if I am active and blood is pumping, I really feel it where tooth was removed.
costco. even playing fetch I notice it. Once I got home, put all groceries away, played fetch, was pretty tired. Max, bosses dog, is here for the weekend. These 2 dogs get along and play well together, so will be easier. Max is small and other dog is 4 times bigger at least, they got in each others beds, very funny. The little one was playing with big soccer ball, big dog was playing with 4 inch soccer ball, very funny. I used to kick the ball and Molly would stop it then run out for a pass, little dog did the same.

Today I am grateful for Diane's reminder that letting go of some things is the best choice for overall well-being (and that she got tooth pulled!);

--that there are kind strangers and acquaintances still in the world when we need them;

--that I have more opportunities to give back to the universe ahead of me.

--for each of you.

Today I am grateful that my painful tooth is out and that all other teeth appear to be ok.

Grateful that this pain is temporary

that I have pain medicine if I absolutely have to take it.

that it is sunny out

that people wished me well at dentist appt.

that dentist charged so little and was so kind and efficient.

That long term dentist charges so much so had to find a new dentist.

That things always turn out for the best

That I am smart enough, to not waste energy being angry at previous dentist, crap happens, no need to waste another minute thinking of ways to get him to be responsible for pulling wrong tooth (if in fact that did happen) Legal action would be a stress I do not need in my life. Letting go is a big lesson.
