Good morning! Happy to read everyone's posts!

I am getting back to my old self--it's taking a while but I'm starting to just clean things automatically. Yesterday I changed my sheets, started to dust in the bedroom, scrubbed bathroom sink and toilet, kept dishes where they belong, and scrubbed down one of my kitchen counters. This is merely maintenance, but it's something I used to do regularly and without thinking. And that's how those things were for me yesterday. I had 15 minutes before BF was picking me up and I thought, quick, do bathroom sink, vanity. It's good to feel like I'll be back to where I can just have people in. STILL A WAYS TO GO but I feel much more hopeful and positive.

Getting mom out today. She has three bags for goodwill which is something of a miracle because she is resistant to getting rid of things. She's still in the "but I love that" stage, even with things that have long outgrown their use. She did this on her own.

We went to an empty bowls fundraiser for my food bank. We brought home two handmade bowls (I love mine and was very happy to spot it in the options - dh, as usual, picked one that made me roll my eyes) also I brought home my plastic spoon and I brought home my paper cup - which is already rinsed and in the recycling. Dh threw away his spoon and the fork he also used and the plastic cup he got his drink in.

Dh bid on a bag of goodies from the music studio where he takes lessons (he wanted the gift certificate) and he won. Besides the gift certificate it included: a clip he is using to keep his music secure on his stand, a piano Christmas ornament which I will put aside for dil's stocking, the cloth bag which I will take to the food bank so they can give it out with food in it, and a religious birthday card with music references which he says I should recycle.

Anony, they are just the little plastic seed starter greenhouse, so 180 plants if they all sprout.

I don't think it's disrespectful to reflect on Jesus to find strength for anything you need to do.

Tillie, We get to choose our trees from a list. I have native redbuds and dogwoods, Cyprus for boggy areas, and evergreens for wind break, plus some kind of wild life friendly nut, but I forget what it is.

Our ash trees are all dying from beetles, so they don't have those anymore. I could choose oaks, but we have enough mature ones that the squirrels take care of planting those.

I love wind chimes!

~♡~Greetings to all!~♡~
Tillie, im so glad your food shopping trip was fun, & getting wet from the rain is a wonderful thing to enjoy! :D
SubC, Wow! 5 greenhouses?! Im always amazed at all of the projects you do! :D
Im on a roll with the down under clean up. It is kinda weird the yuckiness under my trailer bothers me more than the yuck inside of it?! Maybe its just easier with no decisions to make. Ive still been playing full volume the song, 'Gethsemane' while i clean & it has helped inspire me cuz i figure if Jesus went through all of that, the least i can do is clean up the trash under my own home! I hope that doesnt sound bad or disrespectful...♡...i do get an extra chuckle imagining the mini skunks in the ceiling trying to sleep through the loud music..HA HA HA ~♡~

Good Morning Everyone :)
"Clink!"

STILL raining here! :D

Hi Subclinical :)
WTG! YEA!!! for a big clean freezer to fill with all your lovely homemade cheese & ice cream! :D
Any progress you make with the feed bags is great!
You probably go through a LOT of feed every week, so those bags will all add up.
What kinds of trees did they give you?
They gave me ash trees and mountain laurels for my land.
That was a bad choice on their part because they do not do well here due to bugs (boring beetles) trying to always kill them and it takes chemical pesticides to keep them healthy and I hate using that stuff.

Here is something you all may not know...
When it comes to hoarded houses and fires,
the fire departments will not be able to extinguish the fire
so they will focus their efforts on keeping the flames from spreading to nearby structures.
There is no way to fight a fire when it happens in a building as tightly packed full of combustibles as the garage and carport here are.
They will risk their lives entering the hoarded building to rescue any people who may be trapped in the hoard. Many times becoming trapped themselves and die in there.
Since the garage and house meet at the corners of the roof and the carport runs all along the south wall of my house, I stand no chance of them saving anything.
Also, many items give off toxic fumes when burned.
Like those plastic shopping bags, furniture made of composite board and other plastics.
The fumes from them are so deadly that just one breath of them renders you unconscious and then dead.
Most all people are killed by the smoke long before the flames ever reach them.
And that happens in homes that are not hoarded too.
Keep smoke alarms around and check them often.

Everything here is very saturated today and it's still raining.
So welcome in this drought stricken area. ;D
Have some tree food spikes to drive into the ground around the evergreens so it should be easy to do now that the ground is all soggy.
There are a few sunny days coming up before the next storm system arrives here.
Today my plan is to make potato salad then clean the kitchen, again.
Have all that I need to make another wind chime.
I pick up pieces of thinly sliced and highly polished agate at the thrift shop.
Glue on attachments so they can be hung, find something attractive to hang them from.
They make the most beautiful sound tinkling in the breeze. :D

Hello everyone!

I've been reading along but not posting. I had a very demanding week at school.

There is snow here again! I wonder if spring will ever come? I picked up our trees from the soil and water conservation department on Thursday, but planting them this weekend appears out of the question.

Plenty of other things to play catch up on.

I emptied my chest freezer and defrosted it so I can start stocking it with yummy cheese and ice cream.

I have made some very small progress on the feed bag accumulation. I am down to one big tack box full of bags.

I bought 5 disposable plastic greenhouses for seed starting this year. They generally last several years, but I want to figure out a solution so that I don't do that again.

I am cheering for trailer clean up and hoping for the van!
I am also worried about flammables and gunpowder. It is too bad you can't just clear a firebreak around the hoard and let it burn.... I love a good bonfire for clean up. There are probably lots of scared toxic bad to burn things in there though. :( plus, not enough space to create safety.

There was a man near here some years ago who had a house fire. He had accumulated a large collection of ammunition. Emergency personnel evacuated the neighborhood and let his property burn clean. Fortunately we are spread out and wet enough around here that that was an option. (We have had roads closed for flooding off and on all week, and the water level inside my barn is hovering around "wet, with occasional puddles")

Hi Again :)

Anonymoniker,
WAY TO GO! for cleaning out the grossness under your home. :D
I live in the desert and also grew up in Tucson Arizona.
Loose flowy type sleeves work well to cover the upper arms and also allow airflow.

Well, I don't know why I get so anxious about grocery shopping.
All the people were in good moods and being extra polite today.
I think it's because of this beautiful rain we are having today.
Still raining, constantly raining since last night.
No wind and it's not cold out there.
Had to change my socks when I got home cause my feet got wet.
My hair got wet and my coat is wet too.
LOVE IT! ;D

CM, yes, i think you should do a GoFundMe! It could shift things in many ways, for many reasons?! ~♡~
Well, i thought that first end of under the trailer was the grossest, but i was wrong...the next section is the most disgusting...i hope...ha ha...if i get through this, nothing else here will seem gross...ha ha
As far as old lady arms, now i understand why women in India wear those tight, hot, uncomfortable 3/4 length sleeves under their saris in the summer...ha ha...i am horrified at what happened to my arms this past year...im in the hot desert...i cant keep my bat wings covered all summer?!! This is not funny...(ha ha) :D

Good Morning Everyone :)
"Clink!"

Hi Anonymoniker :)
You oiled yourself up and then crawler around in the dirt and got all covered in stuff.
WAY TO GO! though getting back under there and making a difference!

Hi CriticalMass :)
Yes, go ahead and try that "GO Fund Me".
It's worth a try and may turn out to be the boost you need to change things around.
I've noticed that just holding and petting a bunny for a little while does wonders for me.
Unfortunately, I can only hold my wild Cottontail bunnies when they are tiny babies just out of the nest before they become old enough to know better than to be caught. :D

Hi Tatoulia :)
Hope the coffee didn't keep you up too late.
The only "cure" I know of to fix all our old lady arms is to always wear clothes with sleeves. ;D

Started to rain last night, rained all night and is still raining this morning.
Didn't get groceries yesterday. Was too afraid to go out.
Maybe sometime today I will be able to force myself to go. ?
Hate, hate, hate always being so scared of the big spooky world and all those humans running around out there.
I know exactly why I am this way and it is all so very logical. ;P
Anyways, my garden is enjoying this rain and so am I.
Another good day to stay home. :D

Hi CM! I am so glad to hear from you. That is a shame about the van. I'm glad you have good company in your bunnies. There is always a brighter day ahead, dear friend.

I don't have any experience with go fund me but I say, why not? You may find that people want to help you and don't know how to approach you. You may find that your campaign builds no traction. But why nit? There may be a kind soul or souls out there who would love to help you get a reliable vehicle. A lot of people use it and there may be a sense of "go fund me fatigue" but if you don't pin your hopes and dreams on it, I say why not give it a whirl.

Goodnight everyone. I've had a cup of coffee so there's no telling when I will fall asleep.

Anony I think Tillie was referring to your coconut oiled arms with all the debris--also let me know if the oil did anything for you. I looked at my arms the other day and someone had replaced mine with an old lady's arms.

Hi everyone, just a fly by. Sounds like lots of exciting things. My post is going to sound like Debbie Downer at least somewhat by comparison. But maybe there'll be some hopeful in it too.

The van - the old one - finally got towed to the mechanic's a little while ago. Part of the holdup was the weather, part my sinus infection (it's almost gone), and part to do with crates of books I wish I'd gone ahead and gotten out of the van last fall. They are now cooling their heels at my storage unit, the books. I even plucked out a few to rehome.

I'm not going to be able to afford a new-to-me van yet after all. My roommate was going to lend me the money. Then she had a dentist visit and some repairs on her car. It's okay for the moment. I do wonder if God was saying wait CM, don't overextend yourself just yet.

So the big clunker gets fixed again. I've paid for the parts, and for last month's repairs. Hoping the labor for this won't be bad.

I'm hoping that when it runs, I can try to figure out what I can do to bring in money some way that is legal and won't jeopardize my disability.

Just to clarify and sum up - I'm on disability due to a combination of psych stuff. ADHD, OCD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic, and agoraphobia. All the years I did work I hopped from job to job mostly.

The last full time job I had ended a decade ago. I quit because the stresses were mounting and I was in the doghouse despite my best efforts not to be. I had had high hopes that I was doing okay, it was two months after my mom had died, and I was keeping the panic attacks at bay. But the management was putting ridiculous pressures on us, we were short staffed, and it was just a train wreck.

Two months after leaving I had seen doctors and was set up for my hysterectomy. I often wonder if I hadn't been thinking of blowing out my COBRA insurance and seeing a doctor for my lady issues, they might not have caught the tumor that, though not the aggressive type, might have led to cancer.

So I guess I'm saying, God has mysterious plans and ways and even the things that seem horrible at the time they happen, are for a reason.

I'm pretty wiped out at the moment. Going to have my prayer time and play with my bunnies and this evening roommate and I go run a few errands. Then Doctor Who and chill time, and tomorrow I can wake up and see what's what. I'm trying to discern whether to do a Go Fund Me or something.

Tillie, our posts mustve crossed?!? Please be careful moving/storing that gunpowder?! I hope you feel better soon?
Tatoulia, i could not agree more about prefering alone & happy, over together & unhappy! Yall have done it right! :D
Yesterday i started in the grossest spot at one end of under my trailer. It was mainly filthy, fiberglass insulation that had fallen out & been pulled out by animals. My concern is getting it up without the dirt level lowering enough to collect rainwater. I have a big pile of sand, if i need to i can use to fill it back up. I did at least get a system started! YEA!!!
Im also thinking of maybe using my beloved car as a microgreenhouse? ha ha or maybe park it in the shade as a mushroomobile...? ;D

Hi Anonymoniker :)
LOL. Sorry, but LOL :D
Sort of like you tarred and feathered yourself.
Good luck clearing out under there today. :)

Hi Tatoulia :)
I'm happy you are able to have pleasant evenings out with friends and do enjoyable activities together.
WTG! for dishes and Kitty clean up. :D

Yesterday the cats & I went outside and I watered everything (except the 6 trees) for the first time this year.
Marty would always follow me around when I was watering and keep me company, the other cats all run off and do other things.
Thinking about driving into town today. Need to refill a couple of water bottles.
Also, there is only 4 lemons and one piece of fresh ginger root in the veggie bins.
I want/need more fresh produce.
The fridge veggie bins are so empty that I took the time to wash them.
Dark cloudy day with a 60% chance of rain but will get up to 70 degrees.
Yesterday while I had the sprinkler on for the grass a whole flock of Sparrows came by and were taking showers in the water.
They were all so cute and happy. :D

I will be happy when you are able to get rid of the linseed oil & other flammables, Tillie. Hope your puttering day went well.

Anony, let me tell you, I do feel very fortunate to have found my BF. I think that having the same values and being able to laugh at just about anything have been really helpful. I also think that by not living together and by not being married, we avoid some of the day-to-day stresses that enter into a lot of relationships. We are calm and steady, and it suits me. I think you'll meet many nice people and I hope you find what will make you happy. And if you don't, I know for me I'd rather be alone and happy than together and unhappy.

I am back from mani/pedi and dinner with a girlfriend. Will go to bed soon as I have another event tomorrow.

I just did the dishes and cleaned up kitty's mess.

~☆~Good Morning!~
Tatoulia, i still have hope of someday having a relationship like yours! You have set a goal & a realistic ideal for me to hold. Thank you! And that is of course, in addition to all of your encouragement & support! ~♡~
Yesterday my plan was to collect yuck from under my trailer & what happened instead was i got a peek at my saggy, creped skin upper arms in a sleeveless top & freaked & in an old lady panic, slathered coconut oil all over my arms, not realizing the oil would make all the fiberglass dust & other yucky dust pieces stick to me, so instead i played the song, 'Gethsemane' from the concert for 12 hours at full volume & made a variety of healthy soups! ~Vegan Vital Vichyssoise~ ...and a few others, that still need work...ha ha
Today i will collect my first big bag of yuck from down under...ha ha....♡

Hi Anonymoniker :)
WAY TO GO! for trying to keep the "new" vehicle clean! :D
The most important thing I do for the car is every time I come home I make sure to get out every and anything. Never leave anything sit in there or eventually it all starts to build up and become cluttered.
About the sentimental dashboard things...
this is a new vehicle and over time you will find the exact right things to keep there. (((hugs)))

Hi Tatoulia :)
Thank you! (((HUGS)))
I've been eating mostly healthy, a little too much chocolate over last weekend.
Been resting and taking naps and sleeping well at night.
Just tired, think it's allergies. They always make me sleepy.
Hope your hands warm up and stay warm!
But "They say" cold hands means a warm heart. (((HUGS)))
From watching the weather reports it looks like another storm on the East.
Sorry. :(

Today my plan is to just putter around here.
Do a little of this & that.
Washed my heavy down jacket yesterday and got out the medium weight coat to wear.
Also cleaned & put away the heavy down comforter and am using the lighter fiber filled comforter.
I go through three different degrees of Winter, Spring/Autumn and Summer weight bedding and clothes & footwear.
I also have to stow away the space heaters somewhere where they will be safe.
Makes it hard to keep the off season stuff organized and neatly put away.
Especially since this house is so small without any proper closets & storage spaces.
And anything I may put into the garage is not safe from being swallowed up forever in the hoard, that's if I could even find a space to put it out there. ;P

Slowly but surely I have been reclaiming space in the very small room called the "pump house" because that's where the well pump is located.
Last Summer I removed all of his 5 gallon buckets of paint.
Last week I removed the many dozen spray cans of XMas snow and glow in the dark green wash off Halloween paints.
Now I am using the shelf where they were to keep necessary and well used gardening things.
Still lots more ignored and useless things he has in there but doing it little by little is the best way around him.
There are still some dangerous things in there that I will work on getting out the next few weeks, like black gun powder and linseed oil.
Both very explosive & flammable.

Means the world to me to hear you so happy, Anony. I would suggest going just a bit longer without the sentimental things on your dashboard. You'll know what's best in another day or two! I wasn't able to watch the concert but it is available for replay on Hulu. I did catch the last fifteen minutes and it was really great.

Tillie I have been freezing cold. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm but grey. Tonight is rainy and raw--the rain is really coming down. I generally love a night like this but I have been having trouble with my hands and the cold has made it hard to do much. I'm waiting to see if I have something wrong or if it's just the cold. Waiting for spring. It isn't here right now. I hope you are feeling okay, Tillie. And I hope you are eating right. Sorry that I am such a worrier but you do such a good job of looking after me I hope you don't mind that I'm checking in on your health.

Very tired tonight. Had a wonderful meal with a wonderful friend tonight. I seem to have a good group of girlfriends right now. What a pleasure.

Goodnight dear hearts. I'll ttyl.

Im facing a bit of a good challenge in not trashing out my new truck. Just driving home from getting groceries, i usually eat berries driving home, since they go bad often even the next day, but i didnt want the seat to get berry stains, then i ate some pocorn & it was nearly impossible to stop the popcorn crumbs from falling on the floor, etc. Just dealing with that was kind of exhausting?!! ha ha Part of me wants to put my sentimental rocks & feathers, etc. on the dashboard, that are from my car, but...?!?
Today i plan to collect one big garbage bag of yuck from under this trailer! :D

Hi Subclinical :)

Hi Tatoulia :)

You both have been doing FANTASTIC! with not acquiring any more than you need at the moment! :D

WAY TO GO!!! for keeping up with maintenance and not falling behind or going backwards! ;D

Yesterday there was a sprinkling of rain even though no rain had been predicted in the morning when I hung out a bunch of laundry.
Slowly but surely I've been getting Winter drapes & bedding & misc. etc. washed and stowed away until next Winter.
It still gets cold over night but not too bad any more.
Haven't tackled the cat's bedding yet, they like being overly warm, except in Summer when they constantly complain about being too hot as they lay in the sun. ;P

Good morning, everyone! SubC, I admire your work at the food bank! I bet the fresh eggs you brought will be greatly appreciated by the recipients.

A few weeks ago I was getting things ready to make Easter baskets and when I bought ribbon there were a number of cute designs to choose from and I only bought one. I stood there and thought of everyone's hard work here, and thought of the lessons I've learned (and am still learning) and I made a choice instead of buying two or three.

Need to finish getting ready for work. Have a great day, everyone!

Tatoulia, yay for pjs!

Tillie, I am sorry about your antenna and your yard. I watch "tv" on my iPad.

Today I stopped at goodwill but didn't buy anything. I was looking for ideas for my box project for class - interesting shapes and textures, but I didn't find any of those either.

I did buy some Easter candy at the grocery store. I brought home six breads from the food bank - one for me and 5 for me if I eat them or the chickens if they get stale. I took eggs to the food bank.

What a shame about the antenna Tillie. I don't have cable and rely on an antenna, but mine is an indoor one that isn't very good. I'm sorry you are so worn out. What a terrible thing to see more stuff coming into your yard.

All laundry done, folded, put away. I have added more things to my donation pile. I've been to pharmacy to get my rx. Dishwasher unloaded. Can take trash out starting st 5:00. I'm enjoying a cup of soup. Enjoy is a big word. It's low sodium lentil. It's okay but nothing you'd ever crave. It's very low calorie and is very filling so ultimately it's a good choice. I'm not a fan of salt and this still probably has way more than I need.

Wonderful to read all the posts!
WAY TO GO! ;D

Moving slow this morning.
Feeling all worn out from the weekend.
Steven brought home a large truck load of "new treasures" this weekend.
He spent a LOT of money on some of the stuff too.
Watching him just wears me out.

The garage here is large, tall and barn like with a peaked roof.
My TV antenna was mounted up atop this high roof.
The winds were blowing hard and now the TV antenna is missing.
I think it landed on top of the carport roof?
Funny thing is that I still get all the channels except channel 5 PBS.
Of course that is the only channel I would ever regularly watch. ;P

That is priceless, SubC!

We are having snow today. It's very pretty.

I did most of my laundry Saturday. However when cleaning out my drawers I found a bunch of pjs that I can probably wear now that I've lost weight. I'm running the laundry now and will try them on & make decisions once they are laundered.

I am grateful to be working from home today. I will report back later.

I have a student who was born on April fool's day. She was two months early. Her aunt was visiting and called her dad at work "the baby is coming! Meet us at the hospital!"

Her dad said "ok." Hung up and went back to working.

An hour later the aunt called again "where the h*// are you?!" And he said "you were serious?"

SubC that is very funny about the kids putting the teacher's pictures in historical settings. That is very funny and quite clever. It's the other things I don't like, prank phone calls, pretending to be pregnant, the type of stuff that plays with someone's emotions. Tickling funny bones is always appreciated!

I worked on getting rid of more clothes today. I have a bag for a woman who wants my casual things. I also have a bag of donation clothes. This all started because I was looking for something that I still haven't found. I also shredded papers and have the dishes ready to go.

Easter dinner was very, very good. We all had a nice time and everyone liked their Easter baskets.

I am now home/going to wild off kitchen counter then get ready to relax. Already out of my dress and in the pjs. Dear little cat sleeping next to me. We are supposed to get some snow so I'll close my window--reluctantly.

Goodnight everyone. Oh! Anony! I forgot to tell you how pleased I am that you've been going to that class!

I have always loved all of your ideas, plans & perspectives on everything, but imagining myself in Marcia's position was kinda unsettling, but at the same time, i have wanted a savior boyfriend to help me for years! It sounds like, even tho it was a bit extreme, that it will be a wonderful shift & opportunity for her, and you!!! Congratulations on your bold efforts & all the best to you both!!! ~♡~
Im at the motel & it took me an hour to figure out what time & channel this movie is on, even with the desk lady helping me. This TV has 10,000 channels!!!
~♡~Love to all of you & Jesus's Spirit on this day!~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~

I took no offense. In fact im very open to youre opinions negative or positive.

I mean of wasnt for this peer group . I would not have persevered and hold my high onow I did everything I could instead of being bitter .

I met her at church she was with her sister.
we sat next to eachother holding hands.
after services we went to dinner with her family.

everything was very polite. Her sister cornered me in thw lobby and thanked me for the clear out. She started to pour her heart out qnd I just grabbed her hands qnd started praying thanking the lord for so many blessings.

marcie saw us praying and she came and leaned on me.
Marcies family heard about it and wanted to come see.
we met up at her place. Her mom and dad, an aunt 2 sisters and nephews. I brought plastic eggs and hid them . But non of the kids were young. So I felt a bit akward. But marcie called some friends her niegh ors and they hunted the eggs.
The was alot pies qnd desserts.
I overheard marcie talking as I came in the back door I heard her say she loved me for the first time. Even though I dont think she meant me to hear it. I stepped out from the back of hall and my eye teared up. I couldnt help it.
I said nothing qnd started hugging again.
I waw thanked by everyone like I had their damsel in distress.

Everyone left. We just snuggled on the couch .
I asked of the fire place worked she said not in years. But yes.
I cleaned it out and gathered wood for about 20minutes .
and started a warm fire . The rest is private.
I left with her asking me not to go.
I cleared out my own house and stopped by my moms. To check on her. Got a change of clothes . I asked if I cohld come back. So thats where im going.
So far so good. Its all so Intoxicating.

Porter, that sounds better. I also hope you weren't upset by Anony, or by me. We just would have very different reactions to what you did. But Corey goes in and cleans out people's houses in two days, and he doesn't even use a storage unit. And a lot of them aren't excited about the idea at the beginning, and a lot of them get better. So, maybe you are just what she needs. Just remember, she is going to need a lot of support and aftercare. I hope you are perfect for each other.

Happy all the everything! I did not observe anything because i stayed home with dh and made cheese and ice cream, and he doesn't like holidays.

Since the kids didn't come this year, I also didn't get the Easter decorations out, so they have not been sorted. I did find some lovely colored eggs in the chicken coop. ;)

I do like pranks if they are fun and not mean. Some of my students pranked the history teacher by printing out many copies of his face and inserting them into all of the historical pictures in his room. So now he is crossing the Delaware, etc. I love that!

~♡~Happy Pagan New Year!~♡~(April Fools Day)~♡~Happy Easter!~♡~Coffee clinks!~♡~
Tatoulia, i feel the same way about 'pranks.' Ive never heard anyone else say that. Im horrified what people do that is considered 'funny'. The origin of the day is the early Christians called Pagans fools for celebrating their New Year.
Porter, i really hope all this works out ok, but i must say, i would be livid if a new guy tried doing that to me. Im really glad she does at least have the keys, etc., to her things. ~♡~
Yesterday at the plastering part of the workshop, the people learning are trying to organize helping each other & doing trades for needed types of earth(clay, sand, topsoil, etc.). All that would be great if i had a decent, presentable place....(sigh)

Good morning! Happy Easter, Happy Passover--I do not observe April Fool's Day as I do not like pranks at all. I find them very upsetting. But for those who enjoy pranks--I wish you a fun-filled day!

Laundry done last night--everyone is out of town. I made mom's Easter basket as well as one for a shut-in. Ive finished BF's and I just have to assemble my brother's. I sent a meal to a woman who has no resources and I have already heard from her, so that is good.

We are going out to eat later on. BF will take mom, my brother and me. BF's family is the overseas so it is just us.

I'm going to work on living room now, specifically the area that collects stuff.

Kitties love the special foods, Tillie.

Good Morning Everybody :)
"Clink!"

Hi Tatoulia :)
So glad you had a good visit with family! :D
Still a little too chilly here at night to have the window open, but soon we'll get to enjoy that night air too. :)
WTG! for one lamp less!!!

Hi Subclinical :)
WAY TO GO! for getting outside!
No store brand of ice cream can ever taste as good as home made ice cream does. ;D
Yes, those long, dark, cold, dreary days of February do make us despair.
(((HUGS)))

Hi Porter :)
Hope everything works out alright for you and her both.

6:30am now, I've been up since 4:00am.
Was just laying there awake & unable to fall asleep so I got up.
April 1st. already!
After Steven gets up I will do some laundry.
Then I need to figure out what else I will do today.
But first I will give the cats all some canned food just because I am nice. ;P

Thanks
Yes I paid it in full for 1 year.
I gave her the keys , and it's in her name, my name isn't on it.
I also gave her the receipts to the new furniture. She can exchange it , return it ,or do what she wants with it . It is all a gift with no expectations or strings.
Frankly her old sofa is so old and dead mice in it . If she decide to bring that old sofa back , I'll know I can't be at her home. I didn't choose the furniture either . Sectional is imitation leather so that it can be easily washed.

I could see she relaxed when I explained how the storage works. It's less than three blocks from her house . Close enough to walk which is a lucky blessing. She can view everything the totes on her phone or on her tv.
My phone has speech recognition so I was able to manifest her entire hoard I to the totes 1 tote at time with nothing overlaping. She could see that nothing was Missing , just removed from the living space. I did promise I was not going to another ssssingle thing unless she asks me to do it. .

Before I left , I showed the pictures of my house with the hoarding even the ones where my was sleeping in bed with decomposed rats. . and scanned through some of the texts sherry sending me venting hate mail for moving insignificant items. I reassured her that what happens from here on is all in her control. But I cannot tolerate hoarding and neglect in the remainder my life.

I didn't come on to her romantically yesterday, yesterday was yesterday. Today I'm just eager to be near her. I know that sometimes when falling in the love the emotion can be so strong that you do things you normally do because you may become afraid of losing those feelings.
For me it's so strong I feel like drank a million energy drinks.
Yesterday was huge risk for me and her both. How we work together from here will determine a lot of things. My opinion is that we wouldn't have been able to do it together. I was harsh, but decisive, not leaving room for there to be on going issues.
I know how I feel about her, and she's indicated she has similar feelings for me, I made the decision to eliminate the hoarding issue from the get go. Because I know it would not be a match if we become hoarders together.
I made a swift move , now I'll to see if she accepts my roll in our relationship as defending against hoarding.

It's up to her now .

Porter, I hope for you both.

But I don't know. You would have lost me. It sounds like you didn't really listen to her, you forced her. And that isn't a good basis for a relationship. But maybe you really convinced her and she just trusts you, i can't tell from here.

I do know that all of her stuff is now in a storage area and she has new stuff she didn't choose.

I hope that you understand and communicate that she has the right to return the new stuff if it isn't what she wants.

Also, the storage unit needs to be in her name, and you need to give her enough money to pay to have all the stuff moved back professionally. Because right now you have her stuff hostage. If things don't work out between you, how does she get it back?

I just back home.
I was at Marcies all day.
She made the same statements , that I'm taking over and it too much too soon.
I was ready for what I was going to say.

In my heart I know I love this woman in way that's not just a mere spark of passion , but like someone I would die for iif it was nessasary . I see her. She fills my senses in a way that no one else does.

I took a deep breath and started to speak , and my eyes teared up.

I said .
I know I already love you, but I will pull away if you continue your life as a hoarder.
I'm with you all the way on this !
I'm asking for just the one day to let me into your life.
I won't throw anything away, not one thing! I just want to reorganize it . I want to know that you trust me!

She didn't say anything for about ten seconds .
I started speaking again.
I said.
Think of me like the trading spaces guy Ty Pennington . Allow me to give your space a make over , for just this one day.

Marcie said ok.
I asked if she could spend the day at her sisters , because I would be like moth to her.and I can make a difference if I'm not distracted.
She agreed. I could hear in her voice she was crying too.

I sent out a call for help on my family only Facebook .
Only men showed up. I pleaded fir strong guys hungry fir beer and chilli.

We removed everything lime a moving company .
Gave my brother my credit card , and sent him to pick up a new bed , couch and dinning table .
I sent his wife with him to shop for lamps and antiques .
About five o'clock I talked to Marcie again
She asked to come see, but I said come at 11oclock.
With pizza. She agreed.
I left the kitchen and bathrooms the way they are.
The rest of the house is clear of every last thing,
Everythings in storage in easy access totes , all photographed in labeled order. And the storage bin is large with enough Space to sort out everything.

I called at ten o'clock and said " its done " Im ready for you.

She came promptly at 11pm with pizza.
She was stunned , not happy. But not mad.
Lisa my sister in law knocked on the door. With some more antiques from her house . It was a good exchange between them.
After Lisa left , we just hugged alot as she walked from room to room . At 1am I left as I know Ive went farther than she expected. I know she needs time to process it.

My experience with my sherry my deceasesed wife showed me that trauma of having someone come into your Soave and remove everything was very unsettling , but with sherry it took more than a month. And we lived through that trama day after day.
With Marcie I decided I was not going to go this a third time.
It's all done except retrieving the sentimental items and throwing out 70% of what's in that storage.

I'm very tired , my hope s that tomorrow when we meet at church that we just hold hands , and that she trusts me.
Friends
I honestly think I couldn't put her out of my life.
But I just can't go through another relationship like i had with sherry.
I'm 49 , I know what it's like to live a life just tolerating the hoarding . I couldn't respect Marcie in the long run , if she wouldn't let me do what's in my heart.

What matters now is how she feels about it.

So glad things are going well for everyone.

Anony, I am super glad that you will get at least part of your workshop.

Tatoulia, happy news about your family. And good job purging the lamp!

Tillie, I love reading about your spring garden.

I think it is finally spring here. I got outside for almost six hours and started clearing weeds and working on reclaiming my garden from the ravages of neglect. It started raining so I had to come in, but the fire is going and the dishwasher and washing machine are running. I am eating, and then I will cook some ice cream to go in the ice cream maker tomorrow.

I am solar powered. I know that, but I somehow forget it when it is dark and cold and I am depressed and exhausted. Or, I remember it, but I forget what it really means. Will you remind me? When I come here in February and I say I have accomplished nothing and I am tired and discouraged? Somebody tell me it's ok, and this is just the downtime when I am resting because soon It will be spring, and then summer, and I will be up late at night folding laundry because I have had so much sun I can't sleep, but worked so hard I can barely move.

Anony congratulations on the new truck! SubC I'm excited about your son's new home. Sounds like Spring has Sprung Tillie.

So much to catch up on--great to read so many posts! I know I've forgotten some of it already and I'm leaving people out--nit intentional!

My sister came into town today and it went well. I got together with brother early then went to mom's to see sister. I made her an easter basket and she had done the same for me! And mom! I was really touched. She also had once admired one of my lamps so I brought it to her. Goodbye, lamp!

I'm meeting BF for a chowder in a few minutes.

Thinking of you all and hoping to get some work done today.

Oh! Even though still cool here I slept with window open last night--just one. So cool and fresh.
