My bf and I started living together in a new house. It's been a struggle because he will spend a lot of time sorting junk at his old place but is no closer to finishing. He gets upset if anyone touches anything. This has spread to the new house too and he has gotten upset when I get tired of boxes everywhere and relocate them to places that bother me less and are less an eyesore. He doesn't care about looking nice at all. He just wants to control everything on his terms. I've been doing as he asks but the build up of things he just leaves inside the door drives me, a tidy sort, absolutely crazy. How can I get him to stop treating me bad for doing what needs done? | |

Hi Juda! I cant really speak for him, but i know how i am about these issues, and it wouldnt be that id be 'treating my partner bad' by having so many emotional ties to my stuff, its likely just that he is stuck & torn by it & cant move forward as easily as most other people. | |
