Hoarder or Slob

Older topic but this points out the need for extra organization help for many a hoarder.

Also practical work spaces. At least one hoarder considers themselves organized because they can remember where everything is regardless of the logic or practicality.

I will say I've noticed there are people out that simply refuse to or hate to clean. It shows in their car, home, job etc. They are only clean when they have to but personally one should not have to incentivized with a reward other being clean and organized. It will catch up. It's very easy to lose stuff in visual clutter ie a lot of disorganized stuff/piles.

There was/is probably a few issues going on here

I think my daughter is a hoarder. How do I know if she is or not? How do I get her help? Intervention? Therapist come to her apartment? Help! Signed, Scared Mother
