Hi Kim,
Very sorry to hear this.
My first thought is that since your sister has mental health issues and blames everybody else for her problems, you should seek the advice of an attorney.
It can get very ugly when evicting someone and I worry she may retaliate against you with false charges/accusations .
An attorney can help protect you and your mother along with giving you advice on how to proceed with the eviction.

Best wishes
Sincerely, Tillie

I didn't know where else to go so I hope someone here can help me out. I have a sister that struggled living on her own financially. My mother bought a house and agreed to let me sister live there as long as she helped out with some of the finances. My sister was in a trailer before that and it was so bad you could not walk through it and she was being evicted because she had stuff piled up in the yard. My sister agreed that she would help pay some of the household bills and to get rid of some of her stuff. Well neither has happened. In fact she was actually mean to my mother. It got so bad my mom went to live with my brother and his wife..then to Florida for the winter. Upon her return to the house she was in tears. My sister started collecting again, has scabbies, and can't figure out why my brother is so mad at her. She blames everything on my mom. My mom has tried to help her, but it makes it worse. I was tasked to get my sister out of the house so my mom can clean and sell it. We know she is mentally ill, but she thinks everyone else has the problem and not her. Please someone tell me how I should approach the situation....
