Today I'm grateful ~

for having Dakota in our lives

for having a clearer sense of when to let him go

that the streets are clear of snow to take him to the vet for our final goodbyes

I am grateful that I have a sense of humor.

Grateful to be woken up with sweet kitty kisses.

Grateful I have my sight, hands and feet and can still stand and walk and use my hands to do things with.
Also grateful that my neighbor with MS can still do this too. :)

Today I'm grateful ~

that Jack and Kota Bug's vet bill was much less than expected

that I have a vet who keeps the needs of her patients and their momma's as priority instead of pushing more tests for money

that what was originally predicted as a possible nor'easter was a big , fat ZERO :)

I am grateful for...

all the different varieties of birds that visit my garden and give me and my cats something wonderful to see out the window.

I am grateful to be inside when it's so cold outside.

I am grateful to have the internet so I can keep in touch with the people in the world.

It is hard deciding what three things to post here because I am so truly thankful for so very much. :D

Thankful this morning for:

1. Rain - finally - in the SF Bay Area

2. We have plenty of food

3. Pretty good vision, so I can read my beloved books

Cory, take care not to expand too fast. That's a classic business mistake. [I know, advice from total strangers, right?] We want you to do well and have some family and self-care time.

Good Morning Everyone! Great work on the gratitude lists. Hope it is helping remind us of all the positive things in our lives.

My list for today:

1) The determination I have to push me forward each day, no matter what I face.

2) A wife who is always sending me messages, speaking the words, and showing with her heart how much she loves and appreciates me.

3) The ability to open additional offices across the country to help as many people as possible.

Last night I watched a show about Mayra Rosales. She weighed over 1,000 lbs. and lost 800.

Today I am grateful for living in a world where ~

medical expertise is so advanced that amazing, life-saving surgeries can be performed

medical personnel show such kindness, comfort and loving touches to the person inside a body that could have repulsed them

the sweetness of children that is so life-affirming ~ Mayra's young niece saw her as a flower surrounded by petals

I'm afraid that if I participate in this exercise, I'll end up gaming the system by looking for ways to "unbundle" stuff into multiple items for the list.

1. This website and all the changes it has helped me with.
2. My health and Medicare
3. gaining awareness on how to replace shopping, to free up time and happiness

Hi All!
Sorry I have been so absent lately, things are just extremely busy for me right now. I have been working with a business coach and he is helping me as a person, not just a businessman. With that being said, I want to share with you one of the exercises he has been having me do daily which I think has helped me a lot deal with the stresses of every day life. Each day for 21 days, I write down 3 things I am grateful for. That's it! Why is this important? We all tend to hold onto the negative things in life, instead of stepping back and appreciating everything that is good in our lives. I encourage you to try this, and remind yourself everything you have in your life that you are grateful for. It can be anything and everything from your health, to friends on this board, a beating heart, a roof over your head, etc. I think you can all find this helpful in reeling in the emotions that can cause us undue stress each day. Make your own list and post it here for the next 21 days. Can you commit to that?

My daily list:
1) God
2) My Family
3) My Health

Lets see yours now :)
