I'm scared, I don't have anyone I can turn to about this. I grew up in a hoarded home, I'm a third generation hoarder and I can't do this anymore. I've tried to fix it myself, but I can't.

I've gotten sick several times and now I'm worried I might have hantavirus because my cats caught a deer mouse in my bedroom and I've been having some trouble breathing for the last couple days.

I cant afford to hire anyone to help, and there's no groups that I know of around me that actually help woth anything let alone this.

I don't know what else to do

Hi John.

We can't physically help you, but we will support you and cheer you on.

First thing, please seek medical attention! Hantavirus can be treated, but it kills people when they ignore it! Also, I might be someth8ng else that also needs care.

Go do that now. Seriously. Call somebody or go to a clinic or urgent care. You can read the rest of this later.

When you are feeling well enough, it sounds like you should start with making a safe place to sleep. Get an N95 mask and some rubber gloves and start by collecting any trash in the room. If you want us to help you make a plan we will.

Any progress is good. Even just getting your lungs checked out. Let us know that you are ok!
