I have a neighbor, 80 years old who values the look of her home. Her daughter is a hoarder, who owns her own home, but has packed it so much, she cant live there. So now she is with mom, casually, now permanently and have begun hoarding her mothers house. (daughter is a police officer)

Now the mother is withdrawing and having bouts of depression because she cannot entertain in her home or cook on holidays like she used to because she is both ashamed and there is no room for more than 3 people to sit.

How do I start the conversation with her daughter?Mom has tried and she says it will be cleaned up within the week,....years later more stuff keeps coming in.
