hi all, I have a question. I need some help with this. My question is, what do you do with family heirlooms? Background: I'm and only child, so was my dad. My parents died when I was 19(dad) and 30(mom). All grandparents died by the time I was 18. I was so so close to my Dad, and to my mom's parents. Family is important to me. I have kids. So I didn't get much at all when my parents died (long story, vulture-type people got most of it) but what I do have I treasure. I absolutely cannot BEAR to throw out any of the family heirlooms, becuase, you know, they were my grandma's or whatever and it is my only link to them. I did the thing one time where you take photos of an item and then donate it but what is left, I don't know that I can do that. What I have: I think that's about it. It doesn't sound like much but since it is a lot of fragile stuff it is taking up a whole room of shelf space downstairs. I don't have a case or shelves to display any of this in my main living area.
