Hey there, so glad to have found this place! I am waiting to talk with others who feel that their clothing is part of their idienty. Also I am now having such horrible sciatica that even when I am motivated it is vary painful to do the work required. And of course the emotional pain of making decisions. I had a yard sale and made some money, which on my 11000 bucks a month I need desperately. But the leftovers, I put them in the garage and forgot to close the bins and not I need to spread it all over the living room and ir it out, Oh and the worst part, I had shoes and boots that I COULD sell but the box wa sin the drive and there was a crack in t he lid so now there is five inches of water and all the things I had carefully curated - button up boots from 19 that I paid 10 for at a vintage fair in 1980; Frye boots, some cool limited edition converse that I shad spent time spot cleaning - all covered with mold. The trouble it that some of it IS salvageable. Funny, I am almost relieved sometimes when I see that something is totally destroyed. I dint have to make a decision! Okay anyway this I say first post. Thanks for reading, Losing my mind. | |
