Over the past year (maybe more) my mom has been hoarding newspapers. What I don't understand is she is someone who hates having company over if the house isn't spotless (aside from useless "decorations"). I asked her recently if I could throw away some of the ones over a year old. I told her it will help create space to put away some clutter. She flipped a switch instantly and proceeded to yell at me that I can't touch it and only she can. She holds onto old child toys and clothes, this doesn't bother the family as much. The newspapers on the other hand we can't find a reason to why she's doing it, there have been no traumatic events for her aside from my siblings and I moving out. Someone please help, she is very stubborn!
