Joan, im so sorry to hear about your health limitations?! That must be challenging? I hope you can move out of that phase to better health and your whole situation improves?
My homeopath used keneisiology(sp?) to test the possible remedies, and i ended up with 3 bottles; a critical overwhelmed type spray for the air around me or for on my pillow, etc.for times of stress, one for anxiety, and one for depression. I also do visualization for desired effects while im letting each sit under my toungue. Ive also recommend going to a homeopath to several people since having my positive experience with them.
One interesting thing was when i was riding with someone at night on a crowded freeway and was nervous about it for a while, i decided to use my anxiety remedy to see if itd help in an immediate 'acute' type of situation, and right away i relaxed enough to fall asleep for a bit, and after waking up i was much more calm, relaxed and uneffected by the situation! It may have been psychological, but i think it genuinely did help!
Thank you again! Id not likely have tried them if not for you! I dont think id even be on this trip to my friend's place in CA if not for these remedies! Ive really needed to go on a trip after not going anywhere for almost 20 years! It was other factors until the past 2 years its been anxiety that stopped me! Im so grateful to you! :D :D :D

Hello Anony! Thanks for posting about your progress. I was just having a bout of depression myself, and I am so glad that the homeopathy is helping you.

I am continuing to do my work. It gets depressing for me because I have health conditions that are very isolating. I have very few relationships with people, because it takes everything I have to just keep getting through my own survival tasks and maintaining my own health routines. Also I see the world very differently than anyone else I know. The value of homeopathy, for instance, was evident to me about 20 years before I could connect with my present doctor. The need just to keep my nose above water, day to day, renders even the hoarding issue relatively insignificant, so I often feel I do not have much to offer to the hoarding group here. Even writing posts can be too much for me sometimes.

In the long run my efforts at improving my situation have met with unprecedented success. So that is certainly encouraging. However, in my present condition it is still not a life that is comfortable. It is a constant challenge. Often it just makes me very tired.

Thanks again for posting. Have you been on different remedies, or is one remedy in particular helping you? There are bureaucracies that are presently trying to stifle homeopathy (e.g., the AMA) in this country, and they have been successful in the past. I have reason to believe that they will not succeed this time around. Homeopathy will be seen as the backbone of medicine in the future.

Take care.

Joan, i can not thank you enough for encouraging me to go to a homeopath!!! Ive had a huge, noticable shift since going on the remedies!!! The same day as my appointment my stepson came to stay with me, and that has been enormously helpful too,so its difficult to know how much each helped, but i can tell the homeopathic remedies have been miraculous in lowering my anxiety and depression! Thank you Joan! I am so grateful!!! :D

Thank you Joan! I had not heard about using too much of the wrong remedy making future remedies useless, tho im not surprised cuz homeopathics are so non-logical! Theyre like the Zen of natural healing! ha ha I plan to call the homeopath tomorrow for a consultation! Shes been doing this for at least 20 years. The only times ive guessed on my own.were emergencies with my cats and itwas obvious within.a few minutes. I almost always guess right, amazingly, and when.i didnt, i used vitamin c to neutralize the toxins. Thank you again! Im way more comfortable trying non-toxic medicines! :D

I am glad you are feeling better. Just a quick follow-up caution about homeopathy: For this approach to be effective, you will need to consult with someone who is trained in classical homeopathy to find the remedy that fits you, personally. This is called your "constitutional remedy". Homeopathy will not hurt you, but if you take too much of a remedy, you can render ALL homeopathic remedies ineffective in your system. This can close the door on the healing potential that homeopathy holds for you. If you experiment with homeopathy on your own, I strongly recommend not self-prescribing potencies of over 30C, and staying within the dosage guidelines on the package.

You may find this reference helpful: http://www.homeopathycenter.org/find-homeopath. Good luck.

Thank you Joan, Tillie and Roxie for your supportive responses!!!
I certainly wasnt expecting to feel such devastationfrom.a professional! She is.in that medical drug pusher world, so i it shouldnt surprise me that much. What really got me was that i should give up my loved ones, and then to bring up the threat of the law behind it!
I had spoken to her a few months ago and.i got nervous about her reporting me and even.had a nightmare that night that the government was trying to blow my house up and i was trying to get my cats away from.the house to protect them. It somehow seems wrong that the overpaid professionals are the ones that will turn.you in
I know a homeopathic that ive ordered remedies for my cat. Maybe i will try.that for depression.for myself. I hadnt considered that? I do fish oil and Vitamin D and meditate and some of the other natural things for it.
Ive had an.aweful day...i feel like that was my last hope. She is this area's group head for the meetings, etc....ill figure out something tho...Thanks yall!!! It really helps to get confirmation! My Dad was a top level surgeon.who got cancer, and he and my Mom.apologized to me after he finally went on natural remedies for it, for giving me such a hard time about all.my 'crazy ideas' about heath all thise years! I know about the dangers of these new drugs...this lady somehow had no idea what i was talking about. Sorry about all the typos! Thanks again.yall for understanding!!!:D

Anonymoniker, you have my FULL support in refusing toxic medications. I am a survivor of the so-called "mental health system". Not many of us did survive. You are absolutely correct, if one is "diagnosed" as a "mental patient", or even shows up for an industry-run support group, the professionals have open season on your life. Let me guess: CLEARLY you are too disturbed to know what is best for you, so they'll make all your decisions for you and stuff you up with drugs. They pocket a good to enormous profit from the drugs they push on you, and because you're a throwaway to society no-one speaks on your behalf. The drugs WILL kill you. They have killed friends of mine, and almost killed me.

Without any more ranting about what DOESN'T help, let me tell you what has improved my situation. Firstly, don't buy into ANY of the judgements about hoarding that anyone puts on you. It's just an excuse to dump their toxic emotional garbage on top of your already overweight load. Secondly, address any practical difficulties your hoarding poses for you (dangerous living situation, etc.). Thirdly, take your HEALTH into your own hands. On the "new board" thread I posted some comments on "Health and Hoarding" a while ago. Definitely seek out someone who is qualified to practice classical homeopathy. Some doctors are starting to do it again. Doctors generally accept insurance as payment. If you can get a good homeopath and find your personal remedy, a cure is possible. It does take commitment and perseverance, but homeopathy is the ONLY potentially curative modality in medicine today.

I wish you the best on your journey.

The decision to go on medications or not go on medications is strictly something between a person and their health care provider.
Nobody else's opinions matter.
We all must do what we feel is best for ourselves, while taking into consideration the advice of a medical professional who we trust to have our best interests at heart.

This was some kind of in-person meeting? The group leader doesn't sound appropriate, to me. What are his or her credentials? Experience? I am sorry you had a bad experience.

Before any kind of group meeting, if it purports to be professionally run, the therapist needs to meet individually with a person to ascertain certain things about them, like openness to a particular process, perhaps need for individual counseling, support systems that might already exist of be available, and so on. Sounds like you just walked in? I'd look around for some other kind of help rather than return after such a bad experience. What do you think?

((((( hugs )))))

I got there early cuz i didnt get lost and the facilitator really pushed me to go on anti-depressants. I told her im a high risk for suicide and she kept pushing it.
