I have a lot of heavy trash. I have 9 cats and 8 dogs and that was a tremendous amount of poop and cat litter to get out each week. It was scary to think that the trash guys (it's a private service) would be asking each other what the hell is she throwing out all the time? Since the contract says no animal waste I knew sooner or later I'd get caught. And getting caught in one area leads to getting caught in other areas and I am desperate to take care of this problem myself. So I started loading it in my old truck and going to the dump every week. That led to taking other trash to the dump. The only thing I leave on the street now are small containers for recycling which the county picks up. Taking everything to the dump has given me the freedom not to worry about what other people might think when they would see my trash on the street. And that little bit of freedom from worry gives me a bit more energy to get other things done. The mental stress is a huge energy sucker so whatever I can do to get rid of some of that is good. Today I finished getting the garage in decent shape. I can get one car in if I want to. It sure isn't perfect but everything that was easily trashable is gone and I wouldn't be embarrassed for someone to see it now. :) Dianne
