Hi I have an aunt who is a horder althought not as bad as the worst but definatly bad. SHe has been having health and mental issues lately with being in and out of the hospital. Other family members have talked to her and honestly made her feel bad about herself and hording which hasnt; helped at all . I went over and actually listened to her and some of this comes from past abuse in the very house of her mother by her father. Both long since have died. She always felt she was just passing throught there to other parts of her life. So we talked about making it her home and getting it striethened up. So she is letting me *I asked if she would do me a big favor and let me , start cleaning her kitchen. So the last 2 days , I have unearthed the floor and part of the counter. I am taking stuff outside and in other cluttered rooms to make room to work and sort and clean. Is there a better way to go about this>? Iknow all the cabints need emptied and cleaned not to mention everything. Thanks for any suggetions. We are just doing one room at a time.
