Elderly lady 92 years of age. I saw her items in a storage unit for the first time yesterday. She expressed that she would get rid of some of the items in the storage unit (which is 14X14 - filled up to the top which is 10'). I arranged for a mover of her choosing to try moving most of the items but the lady did not want anything but her furniture out. I had explained that she needs to organize and maybe give away items she does not need before the process started so she can get organized. Today, I think it just went from bad to dramatically worse. The storage unit manager said that he thought everything was going today, but I did not say that. Then he said that he is going through legal process now to take everything to the dump. (Mind you that the mover guy even called me to say that all of the items in his eyes was "junk" with roach feces all over). So now I don't know what to do and just feel like I have totally failed this lady in trying to assist her and made everything worse and I just want to hide and cry. I don't know what to do. I need help!!
