I am posting this for a dear friend of mine. She is a new single mom with a 4 month old. I just visited her place for the first time today since she had her baby. She had been asking me for assistance in cleaning her place as a social working will be coming in the end of April to just do a check of the place since she is getting state benefits because the father is unfit to be in their lives.
There is a great deal of stuff in there. The fact that three cats are living there and not always using the litter box makes the place VERY HAZARDOUS for a newborn. Not to mention the collection of cat hair is not good for anyone.
My friend is a great woman who on top of being a new single mom is a cancer survivor who has had it return and is in need of 3 surgeries over the next two months. In addition to this, she had a budging disc in her back.
Needless to say, she is not really in the position to do this all herself, nor should she have to.
I am a new mother myself with a little one who is a few months older. I know how important it is for a child to have a clean and safe environment to thrive in. My own household is currently working off one tight budget as my own daughter has special needs and I am currently a stay at home mom. So my friend and I do not really have the financial ability to hire help.
However, her and her daughter really deserve to have a clean and safe place to heal and grow. That is why I am looking for people located in or near Nevada who would be willing to assist my boyfriend and I in heading up a clean up crew to assist her in letting go and making a safe nest for my friend and her newborn daughter.
