Hello !

I am an undergraduate anthropology researcher at Los Angeles city college. I am working on an ethnographic project on hoarding. This subject is close to my heart as I grew up in a home where my parents both to different degrees struggle with hoarding. Due to my experiences growing up I realize how difficult this subject can be to talk about. I am very sympathetic and truly wish to create an environment in which you can openly talk about your thoughts feelings and struggles. This will likely help you gain some clairity about your experience and your participation would greatly help me with the completion of my project.

To participate you must identify or have been diagnosed as a hoarder and be willing to talk about your struggles with hoarding either over email, phone or in person if you are in the Los Angeles area.
