I am an undergraduate student at McGill University and am looking to recruit participants for my study. Anyone who perceives of themselves, or is perceived by others, as being a hoarder can participate in this online survey. The survey is approximately 25 questions long and should take 15-20 minutes to complete.

The purpose of this research is to gain a deeper understanding of the reasons why people hoard certain items and relate this to perceptions of the environment. My interest is in studying people who have already self-identified (or have been identified by friends, family members, counselors etc.) as hoarders and understanding the ways in which they perceive their own behaviors. All data is collected anonymously and this research has been approved by the Research Ethics Board Office at McGill University.
