Hello all! I am posting on behalf of the Olin Neuropsychiatric Research Center at Hartford Hospital, who is currently seeking participants for a research study about Hoarding Disorder (HD). There is an unmet treatment need for Hoarding Disorder, and research into medication, therapies, and the disorder itself is still developing. Our study hopes to learn more about how people with Hoarding Disorder think, perceive, and make decisions in order to inform future therapeutic treatments.
If you are eligible to participate, you will be asked to meet with a researcher online over zoom to discuss the study in more detail. Then, you will be asked to fill out some questionnaires and complete some online tasks. You might be asked to meet with a researcher for a second time over zoom to complete some more tasks if you are eligible to do so.
Study participants are compensated $20 per hour for participating. It takes about 2 ½ to 3 hours to complete the entire study, across appointments scheduled at your convenience.
Our HHC research team staff are available to describe the study in detail and answer any questions you might have before you decide to participate. If you are interested in participating, please fill out our pre-screening interest form, linked below.
