I had hired a cleaning company last week, to organized,declutter and clean my apartment. one of my biggest fears about the process, since its a building, was my neighbors or landlord finding out about the situation and judging me about it. so i made sure i talked about being discreet with the company that I searched for.
even with all of this, one of my neighbors alerted my landlord about the cleaning company in my place and the amount of bangs the took out of my apartment... which resulted in the super and landlord coming over and reporting me to management because and i quote 'I was not allowed to hire cleaning helped without informing them of the past state of the unit".. which i understand, I'm not getting evicted because, I actually hired helped to clean the place before anyone knew about the situation, and they left the spot basically brand new and spotless...
now my problem is the following, and it might sound silly....I feel so exposed and like my privacy was breached by my neighbors, that i dont want to go back to my place..my anxiety is at an all time high that i feel like i wont even be able to leave the place...I might as well be walking around with a big flashing "HOARDER" sign at this point... like i know for a fact the rumor of the cleaning crew and the bags spread all around the building,...and now its soo unhealthy for my mental stability....
when we hire cleaning companies...all we are looking for is discretion and privacy... although it wasnt the companies fault... its almost as if my inner fears and issues were on tv, broadcasted to all neighbors..
