I was in the same boat and this is what I did.
I cleared out all the clutter from the living room dining room area, kitchen, bathroom and all corners inside the house, except his bedroom.
He can clutter his bedroom, carport & garage, most of the outside property.
I defend all the areas I have cleared & cleaned because I live here too and it's not fair he can clutter up everything.
A good book for you to read is "digging Out".
We are allowed to do whatever it takes to keep our homes safe healthy places for us to live.

Short but to the point. I am married, have four kids, and so much junk. We can't even utilize all the space in our house. My husband just keeps bringing home crap. He doesn't see a problem. It's causing me so much anxiety. I'm constantly trying to throw stuff out, I clean non stop every weekend and get nowhere. My son spends weekends away when he can. What do I do.....
