I would give the dogs to good home.
Fix those water leaks.
Just throw it all out .
Ask a church for help.

Get a box of trash bags a week and fill em up.
Ask some businesses if they you could put some trash I. Their dumpsters. Or illegally put some in an apartment complex trash bins.

But that water. It's what they use to propagate.
I'm not an expert. So my advice is just ideas really.
Have the water shut off. If you can't have the pipes fixed. I Know that's harsh. Get bottled water and use 1 gallon bucketjugs to refill the toilet tank as needed.
Start with one room nearest to the door.
Remove everything down to the floor.
Mice and roaches don't lime clear open spaces.
And it's easier to exterminate the ones that venture Into cleared space.

Once you have 1 room . Then asking for help gets easier. With a roach infestation I wouldn't recommend anything remain . .
I had them once 20 years ago. I did eventually move away. But most of my important things went In to a storage . I poison ed the storage floor.
I used many types of poisons to kill them in the storage unit. It was a cold unit. So kept it there for year. And was meticulous about cleaning, vacuuming, and steaming . Everything that came out of the unit. But in the end I let 70% of what went in the unit go. Being. Hoarder . I had to let go slowly. But must let go of it. When it was a really and very obviously ruined.

It can be tough . It be can daunting. It I can be done.

Start with the front room. And totally clear the space. Then go room by room till you can walk from front door to back door.

If you at some point can commit to getting rid of it all. Then call several flea market sellers and ask if they would be interested in bidding for the job. They. An keep it all and they make money by selling it.

U haul vehicles are cheap these days . And you can sleep at in one. If it's not running and on your own property. Cheaper than a hotel especially ally if you're using smoke bombs . Then each weekend . Clear a room.

If you use that approach .
It will look like this.

Monday sleep in a bug proof tent on an air mattress. Fill 20 trash bags . Take bags of clothes to a charity.

Tuesday sleep at a friends house or a shelter. For showering purposes.

Wednesday.
sleep in a bug proof tent on an air mattress. Fill 20 trash bags . Take bags of clothes to a charity.

Thursday sleep at a friends house or a shelter.
For showering purposes.
Friday sleep in a bug proof tent on an air mattress. Fill 20 trash bags . Take bags of clothes to a charity.

Friday's Sleep in the Uhaul.
Saturday sleep in uhaul
Sunday sleep in uhaul

If after two weeks your getting nowhere. You may need to let someone else take over.

.

I don't know you, or if your still around to read this. The goal is to reclaim living space.

The roaches can be exterminated by someone else.

The tent thing and the haul need to be temporary. Like less than a month and during good weather. .

I'm assuming you are the house owner. And why your so attached to it.

Just a rough unedited draft .

I am so sorry this is happening. Please, if you think you are going to harm yourself, please call The Samaritans or the hospital. You also need to immediately seek some help for yourself and your animals--please see if your doctor can make a referral or whether your pastor or rabbi can help you. I am worried for you. There are some very good cleaning companies listed on this site, which you can access by state. Please call one of the ones I. Your state to get some ideas. You will be able to get through this. It gets better. It really does. Read through these threads and see that you are not alone.

I feel so absolutely desperate!!!!

I'm living in extreme filth and clutter. I have 3 dogs that have not gone outside for two years. My home is infested to the EXTREME with roaches. I cannot sleep in doors. WATER pipes are broken, but I cannot have anyone come to the property. Code enforcement has already put signs on the property and they have not even been inside. I am horrified that I will end up on the evening news. I don't know how to begin. I want to just get into my truck and drive off...never look back.... start a new life.. I am looked up to in the community, when I am discovered, I will be totally destroyed. I have taken to sneaking into an empty neighborhood home at night to sleep without roaches crawling all over me. I have no money to fix the repairs needed (even if I were to allow someone on my property). The roach invest at ion can only be fixed (maybe) with tenting. The dogs have dug through the walls and torn ALL the upholstery off any furniture. I want to die. I need help.
