OMG! I just found out that my idol, Kim Kardashian, is pregnant! :D
And she is already giving out pregnancy advice.
You got to read this article that I found on the Internet.
The article is called: "Kim Kardashian's Motherhood Guide".
Go to this website to read it: www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/01/04/kim-kardashian-s-motherhood-guide.html
I think Kim Kardashian is awesome and I would love to be like her one day, but some of the stuff that she says in this article is pretty ridiculous. Lol. :)

Hey Tillie,
Sorry to hear that you can't eat pickles. :(
I love pickles. I eat pickles with literally everything; pickles and ice cream, pickles and pizza, pickles and cereal, etc. :)
I know I'm super weird. Lol. :P

Today I am going to finish watching the fourth season of "Sons of Anarchy". Then after I finish watching "Sons of Anarchy" I am going to take Cory and Matt for a walk. :)

Good morning :)

Just need to do the usual daily tidying up today.

Extremely cold here so I am moving pretty slow.

Going to look around for an easy task to occupy myself with. Something that does not involve going outside.

One "Must Do" for me today is to clean out the fan on my laptop. Wash and disinfect the keyboard and clean the monitor screen.
Amazing how dirty a computer can get!

Have a fun day! :D

Because of my dietary restrictions I cannot eat pickles (too much salt) and I no longer eat any dairy products.
So pickles and ice cream would be a no-no for me.

I LOVE PICKLES AND ICE CREAM!!!!! Lol. ;)
Does anybody else love pickles and ice cream as much as I do? ;)

Hey Tillie,
You should watch "Sons of Anarchy". It's a really good show. :) I also watch "The Walking Dead" too. But I have never watched "Supernatural" before. I'm glad your husband is getting better. :)

So far so good.
The meds are working. :D
He doesn't need the pain meds any more.

Today I am going to dust and wash all the wires and areas behind and under the TV/stereo/bluray player (entertainment)center.

Then I will dust & polish the rest of the room.

Everybody have a great day and stay out of the ER. :D

Today I plan on having a "Sons of Anarchy" day. :)

The first thing that I am going to do today is hang up my 3 new "Sons of Anarchy" posters. And then after I hang up my posters I'm going to start watching my "Sons of Anarchy" blu-rays. :)

It's a good thing that I have nothing else going on today; because I have the first 4 seasons of "Sons of Anarchy" to watch on blu-ray.:)

Today was a whole lot of fun....

NOT!

He decided to try and pass a kidney stone.
Lots of agony and time spent in the ER getting tests and meds.

Hoping we both get some solid sleep tonight.
Probably won't be doing much tomorrow.

Oh well :D

I just got back from Michigan. I am so glad to be home; and I am pretty sure that Matt and Cory are just as glad to be home as well.

Our trip went pretty well. Matt and Cory got lots of love and attention from all of my relatives. They love the new collars that I got them for Christmas. I got the newest version of the IPad for Christmas which is the iPad 4. I absolutely love it. My grandparents gave me and my cousins a bunch of money for Christmas; I have already spent $100 of it so far. My cousins and I went to the mall on New Year's Eve and while we were at the mall I bought a bunch of "Sons of Anarchy" merchandise; I bought 4 shirts, 2 hoodies, a bag, 3 posters, and seasons one through four of the tv show on blu-ray. I just went crazy at the mall and bought pretty much anything that had to do with "Sons of Anarchy". Because normally where I live, all they sell at my favorite stores in the mall is "Twilight" merchandise and "Justin Bieber" merchandise, which I find so incredibly ANNOYING!!!!! So I was really shocked and very happy when I went to all of my favorite stores at the mall in Michigan and found a bunch of "Sons of Anarchy" merchandise. :)

Also while I was in Michigan, I found out that my aunt Sharlene and my grandma are officially at WAR with one another. I'm going to call this war, "The War of the Housewives". Because they both like to do the same type of things, like they are both really good cooks and they both like to entertain people at their houses, but they are also very competitive and very catty towards one another. And they like to spread mean gossip about one another, to try and make the other one look bad. And it's getting really bad.

Hi :D

For some unknown reason I couldn't get online at all this morning.
Maybe the interwebs were just too cold. It still has not gotten to 20 degrees F here. ;p

Anyways....
I have been going around the house cleaning, straightening, organizing and taking inventory of every shelf, cupboard & cabinet.

Good news is that I don't need to write anything down on my shopping list. :D

This is a good task to do on such a bitterly cold day.

Stay warm! :)

Good morning :)

Going to take the day off today.
Will do the usualy cat related chores.
The kitchen is clean, bathroom too.
Laundry all caught up.

Since there are no pressing deadlines scheduled for today I will have him take today off too.

He has been doing such a great job this month, time for some fun now. :D

Everybody have a fun relaxing 1st. day of 2013!

Happy last day of 2012

This morning has been hectic. Cats running & jumping & fussing everywhere.
The man running & jumping & fussing everywhere and me just trying to have a cup of tea. Heavy sigh.

Need to tidy up the kitchen because late last night he brought out a lot of dirty dishes from his bedroom and dumped them in the sink.

Need to clean the bathroom, sweep the floors, vacuum, sweep the porches, do some laundry.

Today the sun is shining, no clouds in the sky and temperature is below freezing.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi Beverly :D

Thank you for the Greetings. :D

BIG WAY TO GO!!!on using the things you already have and reducing the amount of new stuff coming in.

This year whenever you just "shop at home" rather than bringing in something new you are doing my challenge. :D

Lets see how good we can do with this idea.

About running out of things, a friend said that she has the store keep the items for her until she needs them. Less clutter in her home that way. lol

P.S. the blackberry cobbler was fantastic. ;)

Have a wonderful New year! :)

Happy Birthday and Happy New Year Tillie!

Blackberry Cobber sounds much better than birthday cake to me.

I love your challenge. It's the "Don't Buy Any New Stuff Ya Don't Need Just to Stuff It In The House Challenge". That's a pretty big challenge for a bunch of hoarders... but I'm happy to say, I have cut way back on my hoarding of supplies. I've been using up all the products I already have and if I want to go shopping for clothes, shoes or handbags, I can just go shopping in my own stuff. There is so much, I don't even remember getting half of it. Wow... how did it all start!

I think it comes from a fear of loss or being without. What if all my stuff disappeared? Oh noooo... I better get more, just in case...hahaha

Since he has been home 24/7 this last month I have only been doing the minimum of cleaning.
He will return to work soon so I have started doing small cleaning projects in places where he won't be messing it up right behind me.

Yesterday I swept the ceilings. Weird how even they can get dusty.
Cleaned the area under the burners on the stove top. That gets dusty too.
When he goes back to work I will give the house a good deep cleaning.

Today I will clean the areas under the sinks.
Wash and bleach the cat boxes.
Swish & swipe the bathroom.
Sweep the floors & porches ( the front porch is covered in snow).

Doing a few "extra" tasks a day along with the daily maintenance breaks the cleaning tasks down into very do-able size and you don't get overwhelmed and discouraged.

Well, the 1st guy that was to do the work has died so we now have a younger healthier licensed contractor scheduled to do the work this next Monday.

My To-Do list for today is to clean the bathroom, wash the floor, sweep porches, vacuum and dust.

Had some fun yesterday.
Made blackberry cobbler instead of a birthday cake.
Went shopping in town and bought myself some new underwear and two movies.

Have been thinking real hard about something I want to do this year...
My plan is to NOT buy anything except food and any necessary toiletries or cleaning products.

I have taken inventory of everything that I own and it is all in fine condition.
I have enough clothes, shoes and linens to last the year.

Anybody want to join me in this challenge? :D

Good morning :)

Thinking about not even bothering this year to bake my birthday cake.
There is something that I want to buy for myself but the stores are all crazy with people.

Anyways....
To-Dos for today are the usual daily tasks and whatever else I choose to do.

I have no idea what his plans are.
Fortunately, the snow here is thin and not really a problem.

Have a nice day! :D

It was very dark and cloudy here all day and extremely cold.

Nice day to stay inside.

Merry Christmas to you Beverly :D

That is unusual for it to post twice.

I am hoping that he continues to declutter the property.
This side yard is a large area where he has piled up a lot of stuff over the years.
It was dangerous just to try to walk through there.

Hope you find your motivation and have a very happy New Year.

That's great that it's getting cleaned up around your place. Sounds like he's keeping with it.

I'm not having as much luck keeping up with my cleaning up this week. Not that it has anything to do with luck...hahaha... but hopefully I can get motivated again tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to you!

OK, I decided to clean the cupboard over the fridge.
Removed everything, washed down the entire thing then washed all the dishes I keep up there and put them back all neat & tidy.
Nothing in there that I do not want or use, even if some things are only used when I have company over for dinner.

He has spent the day out working in that side yard.
It is a big area and he has now gotten more of it decluttered.
He's been burning more rotted lumber.
His metal scrap pile is growing.

He gave me a tour of all he has accomplished out there.
So nice to see it getting cleaned after so many years. :D

Good morning

If any of you are wishing for a white christmas

Stop it!

We have enough snow here already.

Not much happening here today.
Just the usual daily chores to handle.

Hoping he keeps his motivation up to declutter something.
Even the smallest task accomplished is a giant leap in the right direction.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday! :D

Tillie,
Just make the most of it! Overall I would say he has done some great work...just losing his steam it sounds like.
I am heading out to do some more shopping and since I think tonight will be dead on the support group I may just stay out and try to get all my shopping finished up. If I get back in time, I will log on. If I don't talk to you, have a wonderful Christmas!

Good morning

I have no plans for today.
There are lots of different projects I could work on around here.
Like putting the new shelf paper on in the kitchen cupboards.
But with him home & under foot I don't want to.

I have a whole list of things to do once he goes back to work.

Hoping that today he continues doing some more decluttering.

Be safe out there driving around in the christmas traffic! :)

Right now I am getting ready to leave for Michigan. We are leaving a little earlier then we originally decided. All of the bags and suitcases are in the back of my dad's truck ready to go. And Cory and Matt are standing right next to me, wagging their tails and looking very excited to go on their very first road trip. We will be coming home from Michigan on January 2nd. :)

HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

Love,

Usually he will spend hours & hours on his computer.
But today it didn't take long for him to get bored with the computer.

He has been clearing out and decluttering corners & cubby holes in his bedroom that he has not touched in years & years.

Great BIG grin here :D

This morning looking all happy and kind of excited, he asked me if I wanted to go into town and check out the thrift shops.

I answered "NO".

Looking sad, he went into his room to play on the computer.

You would think he would not want to get any more stuff after spending all this time decluttering that side yard.

Oh Well! :D

I bought them new collars for Christmas. While I was in the pet store today, I found these really cool superhero collars that I decided to get for them. I found a Batman collar and a Superman collar. Cory is going to get the Batman collar and Matt is going to get the Superman collar. :)

Tomorrow afternoon I am leaving for Michigan. My family and I are going up to Michigan to spend the holidays with some relatives. So today I have to pack for Michigan. I have to pack for myself and also pack for Cory and Matt; because they get to come up to Michigan with us this time. I'm so excited because this is their first road trip. I am so glad I get to take them up to Michigan with me this time. The last time I went up to Michigan my relatives wanted me to bring Matt and Cory with; but my dad didn't want them to come with because he didn't think that they would like being in the car for such a long period of time.

In a little over an hour, when it turns midnight where I live, I am going to go outside and run around screaming, "I'M ALIVE! I'M ALIVE! I SURVIVED THE END OF THE WORLD!" lol. And then after that, to help me warm back up from being in the cold,I'm going to come back inside and get in the shower and try out my new hand-held shower head that I got today to replace the old shower head that I accidentally broke. :)

Hey!
Anybody who has a live cut christmas tree
Make sure you check the water level at least twice every day
and refill the reservoir as needed
Even more often if you have pets drinking from there
These trees can and will dry out very quickly

Stay safe out there! :D
