Don't know how to start clean up

I have a similar situation, I have a hard tme getting started, or staying on task for more than a few minutes. I am disabled, and recently developed weakness in one arm. That is definitely not helping.

For me it would be worse to ask for help from family. Both my sisters have similar problems but one would ignore me and the other would lecture me with nasty comments, not only about my mess, but my health, my weight, my car, my kids, my marriage, and anything that could hurt me. And she would refuse to help me because "its enabling." Mind you, she is an expert on all topics despite never finishing a college degree. I had a friend volunteer to help me with just a small spot, but it was too much for her, and she gave up. That area is now worse than before.

I am currently working with a social services worker (no degree, but infinite patience and persistance). He comes every week and helps me with one area. Finding outside help with a clear mind and no personal agenda is essential to digging out. I can't see the forest for the trees, but my helper is not emotionally involved and can see a path when I am lost. I found him through a mental health/ social services agency
I was assigned to by the State Department of Health, which is funding my care. It is worth investigating to help pay for help. Insurance frequently won't pay for mental health care.

Call up friends, sisters, brothers and/or relatives to help out. I'm sure when they see how much work needs to be done, they'll do all they can for you, and motivate you as best as they can.

Hope this helps.
