I'm seeking help because it seems as though help for hoarders is lacking in Las Vegas. My father is a hoarder who is turning our family home into his own junkyard.

My mother has been able to keep things relatively in control for all our lives, but recently, my father has been taking over. He justifies his hoarding by insisting he is selling what he purchases from Ebay and that he will have a garage sale.

I've tried everything within my power including yelling matches and clearing a small area so the entrance to the house would not be obstructed. Nothing worked. It's only getting worse.

At this time I'm reaching out for professional assistance. I'm hoping to find a therapist specializing in hoarding who will make house calls.
