Sarah,
Anxiety and stress before allowing someone in is completely normal. This is a big step for you and I understand you fears but please just let tomorrow happen before you make any decisions. Once you realize it isn't anything like what you have built up in your mind, you will see that is well worth it and not a big deal. Just meet with her and see what she has to say. I know her personally and you couldn't be in better hands. You will be in control of the cleanup happens, nothing goes without your permission. If you truly want to change, just give it a try. The cleanup can go as slow as you need it to. Your anxiety and emotional state will be monitored by her. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you choose to do.

w exactly Hi, I'm new to this chat board..I was told about it by a professional organizer here in AZ who has offered to help me...for a fee...and I scheduled an appt for tomorrow for her to com over but now I'm having a panic attack and I don't think I'm ready yet to let someone see my clutter. I'm also afraid she'll make me get rid of things I'm not ready to let go on quite yet. Also, I really don't want people to take pictures of my clutter...that's even more embarrassing...once I get muse all cleaned up, I don't want to relive the pain of seeing what a mess I allowed myself to live with for way too long. Is the SUNDAY AND TUESDAY SUPPORT GROUPS via phone or just via this chat room...how exactly do I participate? Thx!

I think being able to feel more private outweighs the need to post pictures.
