Frustrated, i totally understand what you are saying! And sometimes the plan is the biggest challenge! Not that im having much success, but i do know that doing a bit at a time will get you going, and then you will gain momentum! Good luck!

I know what Alina means about not having company. I used to entertain, have people for dinner and holiday meals. Then my sister got sick and I stopped because she was my concern. Now I travel and I'm not home much. It makes me sad and depressed to come home from a trip and my house be such a mess. If I could just make a plan...

Hello Everyone,
Ironically, we are doing some major cleaning and purging at work. I find I am not having a difficult time at all.
I am insisting that some books be donated rather than tossed, but have thrown out a whole lot. We have a lot more to go, but it looks a lot nicer. :) I wish it were that easy at home!

To Exhausted:
Welcome! Not sure how much help I can be as I am a newbie here myself.
I am starting by cleaning up one small area at a time. Every time I go out the door, I make it a point to take donations or trash. Trash goes in the garbage can and donations to a box on the back porch. I am slowly making a very small dent.
I work 40 hours a week, so the going will be very slow.

Hello Alina :)
Tell us a little more about your situation so we can make better suggestions. Do you live alone? Any children or pets? Do you live in a detached house or big city apartment? Do you have regular trash pick up or have to haul it all to the dump? The more we know about your situation the better.
Welcome :)

I just found this web site and sure do need some support and advice on how to get started. I am too embarrassed to have company over. Too ashamed to ask for help. I want my home back!!
