What are you starting with to reduce the quantity of stuff you have?

Caring Transitions can assist you with clean outs due to hoarding, etc. We are a downsizing company (bonded and insured). Attached is a link to our You Tube clip that gives a comprehensive overview of our services.

Welcome to the board, Kralac! I hope you find some useful help here. :)

I've always been fascinated by tiny houses even before they became a thing. Small houses, RVs, and the like. My parents and I had two travel trailers we used to go camping in - first a 17-foot then a 23-foot. It seemed fun to miniaturize everything.

Now I love looking at pictures of people's tiny houses though I don't know if I could do the tiny house thing since I have a lot of space-intense interests: books, art, crafts, sewing, and I also have pet bunnies whose cages and playpen need space.

But for those who don't have those interests a tiny house can definitely work if that's the direction you feel drawn toward. If I were you I'd research places like here to help with the decluttering aspect and sites on tiny houses and minimalism to get helpful hints as to how people succeed in the tiny house lifestyle.

Anyway, again welcome, and hope you enjoy the boards. We "regulars" tend to hang out mostly on the "Daily Chat"; sometimes the other topics don't see a lot of action. I hope that trend changes at some point. Perhaps as this board draws more members we can have lively discussions going on many topics.

Hi all, I go by Kralac online.

Here recently I have been having to face my hoarding problems. I live in a tiny house of about 360 sq feet. Although my hoard is not as big as I have seen it still has caused me plenty of trouble with my life.

I have always suffered from anxiety and had fights with depression on and off. Something recently clicked in my head and I decided I had to start fighting against my issues in order to move on in my life. I just graduated college and it has always been a great excuse to push things off to another day (seeing as I have been working on my degree for almost 15 years).

I think the moment that started me on this journey was when I was watching Tiny House Nation and seeing people pair down what they own and then realized I live in a Tiny House as well and I was not living "tiny".

I have began to record vlogs to keep myself on track. I hope that one day they may even help someone else trying to dig their way out.

Well anyways I think that is a long enough intro, if anyone has any questions feel free to fire away.
