A good book for you to read is
"Buried In Treasures."

We always say to start small, baby steps at first.
Don't try to do to much at first or you will become frustrated and discouraged.
A good and easy start is to take a grocery bag and fill it with any obvious trash then take the bag out to the can or dumpster.

I don't even know when it stated for me but I fit all the online descriptions of hoarding. I feel like I want to purge and stop but don't know how because my mind gets in the way of what I know is right. I'm happy when my space feels clean and organized BUT I have a hard time parting with things. It's a BIG mental game for me. I want so bad to be normal. I don't want to not answer a knock at the door. I need help but don't know what to do.
